Maurice Goin graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy as a commissioned officer before he bought a business. His first acquisition, a residential cleaning company purchased for $250,000 using an SBA loan, became the foundation of a four-company portfolio built entirely through SBA financing. He merged his first two residential cleaning acquisitions, expanded into commercial cleaning with a third, and pivoted his fourth — a lead generation company — into a business brokerage. Maurice has gone full cycle. He is now a minority partner at a private equity firm, deploying capital into real estate. He brings to TAG's Advisory Board a practitioner's perspective that spans the entire arc — buyer, operator, broker, and investor — across four deals built from the ground up.
